It can only be reached on foot and it is one of the few beaches of the area where swimming is not dangerous, because there is a moderate swell. It is 340 meters long by an average of 30 meters wide. It has lapilli and stones, no services, and it is 25 kilometres away from the hospital Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.

Los Areniscos beach is situated at the coast of Punta del Hidalgo and near to Bajamar. It has a moderate swell and it is a small cove of black sand of black sand made of middle-size grain and lapilli, 50 meters long by an average of 10 meters wide. It is situated at a half-urban area that can be reached by bus. There is a sea front and some services like surveillance, Red Cross post, showers, toilets, changing-rooms, parking area and public telephones. There is also accommodation (apartments and camping-site) and restaurants. It is 25 kilometres away of the hospital of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.

Roquete beach, at Bajamar´s coast, one of the two tourist resorts of the municipalities, is 120 meters long by an average of 30 meters wide. Bajamar is not known because of its beaches, but because of the bathing areas nearby. It is not recommended to swim at the beaches because of the heavy swell.

El Arenal beach is situated at a virgin and isolated area at the coast of Bajamar, that has to be reached on foot and it is 740 meters long by an average of 35 meters wide. It has lapilli and stones and a moderate swell. It is the best beach of Bajamar which, together with Punta del Hidalgo, one of the tourist resorts of the municipality. The place can be reached by bus and there is a camping-site. It is 25 kilometres away from the hospital Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.

It is 150 meter long by an average of 20 meters wide and has lapilli and stones. There is a heavy swell that turns it into a very dangerous beach. There are usually many fishers and it has no services, although there are local police and Red Cross patrols. It is 23 kilometres away from the Hospital Tamaragua.

The coastal village of El Pris, with fishing area, is situated between small rocky islets that shelter a 120 meters long by an average of 15 meters wide beach. The beach has black sand made of middle-size grain and stones and has a heavy swell. It can be reached by bus and has a sea front. At the village there is also accommodation and restaurants and the beach has warning signals, sunshades, deck-chairs and public telephones. It is 23 kilometres away from the hospital Tamaragua, in Puerto de la Cruz.

It is one of the nicest places to swim of that coast because it is protected from currents, although it has a moderate swell. It is 330 meters long by an average of 39 meters wide. It has thick black sand and lapilli and it is full-equipped. It has many services and can be reached by bus. There is a parking area, accommodation (apartments and camping-site) and restaurants. There is also a sea front, showers, toilets and deck-chairs. It is 22 kilometres away from the Hospital of Tamaragua, in Puerto de la Cruz.

La Garañona beach is more than one kilometre long, 1,240 meters. It is situated at a virgin and isolated area of the coast of the municipalities of El Sauzal and Tacoronte. It is an average of 10 meters wide and can only be reached on foot, because it is very rocky and it has become a nudist beach because of isolation. This cliffed coast receives the visit of many hang-gliders, that profit from windy days to throw themselves from the cliffs to the beach. The beach has fine black sand and a heavy swell that makes it very dangerous. There are no services and the hospital Tamaragua is 21 kilometres away.

La playa del Camello se encuentra en un paraje virgen y aislado de la costa del municipio de Tacoronte. Solo se puede llegar a ella a pie y su aislamiento la ha convertido en una playa nudista. Mide 510 metros por 25 metros de ancho medio. De fina arena negra y fuerte oleaje, dispone de zona de aparcamientos. Esta a 21 kilometros del hospital Tamaragua, de Puerto de la Cruz, el mas cercano.

It is nearly one kilometre long, 980 meters, by an average of 30 meters wide. It has fine black sand and a moderate to heavy swell. Therefore it is recommended to swim carefully, but it receives many visitors because it is a nudist beach thanks to its isolation. It is eight kilometres away from the hospital Tamaragua.

El Muelle beach is a small port beach in El Puerto de la Cruz. It is 30 meters long by an average of 29 meters wide and has calm water, safe to swim. It has lapilli, it is very visited and has the typical equipment of an urban and port area. There is a sea front, an anchoring area, a parking area and accommodation in the surrounding area. It can be reached by bus and has a surveillance service with a Red Cross post. There are also showers and public telephones. The hospital Tamaragua is only one kilometre away.

Playa Jardín beach is situated at the west coast of Puerto de la Cruz. It is an artificial beach, made in 1993. Cesar Manrique, also responsible for Lago Martianez, made the beach plan, but he died before it was finished. It costed 12,020,242 euros. In order to protect the beach from the heavy swell, it was necessary to build a breakwater with four thousand cast stones, 20 tons each.

There is a parking area and local police patrols, although it is not very visited. The beach is about 23 kilometres away from the hospital of Tamaragua.
