David Moraga, a young promise in the canarian kitchen, is the creator and master of El Bocoy. He has been able to give everything necessary to turn this restaurant into a good reference on the island.  

restaurante el bocoyEl Bocoy is very well located, complimenting the services that the Gran Tacande hotel offers, but with independent access for the public. Being located in one of the most beautiful corners of Tenerife, allows this restaurant to give impressive views to the Playa del Duque and La Gomera island. So sitting in the terrace is highly recommended. 

El Bocoy can delight you with a Norwegian lobster salad, foie-gras and caramelised melon; cod with marrow and tripe ratatouille. In addition, El Bocoy has added to its menu  “healthy dishes”.

Apart from the menu there are 2 sampling menus; one more modern of 5 dishes, cheeses and dessert and the other more traditional of 4 dishes, cheeses and dessert with recipes from the canaries. 

A highly professional service, and most important, a menu with European haute cuisine.

This, together with the fact that it is in one of the most splendid and attractive zones of the island, has ensured the success of this restaurant.
