Casa de Los Volcanes: The Volcano House is located in Los Jameos del Agua, a volcanic centre of scientific, cultural, pedagogic and tourist interest. Jameos de Agua, Haría. Tel: 928 835 200.

 

Sacred Art Museum and art gallery of the Convent de San Francisco: founded by Gonzálo Argote de Molina, husband of a daughter of the island’s marquis, Agustín de Herrera Rojas y Saavedra. Its construction began on 1588, although it was reconstructed after the fire of the Xabán and Solimán invasion. C/San Francisco, s/n.Teguise.

 

Peasant Museum: This peasant museum shows a large number of domestic utensils used by the local farmer. It also has a restaurant with typical products and dishes. San Bartolomé, on the road.

 

Museum of the canarian immigrant: Located in Villa de Teguise, in the Castle of Santa Bárbara, over the volcano of Guanapay. Constructed in the 16th century. It has been recently converted into the ethnographic Canarian Museum. It has a documental archive of objects and belongings of the immigrants from the Canaries to the Americas. Ethnographic Museum Tanit: Found in the old cellars of a traditional Canarian House of the 18th century owned by the Perdomo family. The visit gives us the opportunity of learning about the local patrimony with samples of local traditional utensils.. C/Constitución, 1. San Bartolomé. Tel: 928 520 655.

 

International Contemporary Art Museum (Castle of San José): In this castle we find one of the largest contemporary arts museum of the Canary Islands exposing pieces of art of the 20th century.
