Its mentor, Maria Dolores Padrón, works hard to preserve the culinary idiosyncrasy of this island fomenting the four fundamental products of the gastronomy that kept El Hierro from famine: fish, goat’s meat, cheese and wine. Its kitchen always has seasonal products; therefore, its menu changes constantly to offer this freshness everyday.  kitchen and its letter changes to offer this way the fresher raw materials of the daily market.

This family from the island has created this romantic restaurant with a dining room of only 30 people in the inner patio full of nature. This is a restaurant with a kitchen that foments the purity of the canarian flavours. From its menu we must emphasize its flavourful meats: ox tail, sirloin in a pear sauce, rabbit with almond sauce, lamb….

From the sea everything and fresh: tuna, sawhorse, viejitas, shrimps, calamari….Roasted local cheese with honey, stuffed champignons…. 

El Hierro is famous for its exquisite cheese based patisserie like “quesadillas”, or “merengón”, all of them elaborated by the Padrón family. Delicate and pleasing atmosphere, quality cuisine, an amiable and efficient service and reasonable prices for the quality obtained.
