maroparqueIt is located on the western slope of El Galeón ravine, in the road leading to Buenavista, halfway between La Concepción viewpoint and the Real Santuario Insular de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves. Its collection includes exotic species of mammals (monkeys, porcupines and marmosets), birds (cranes, hornbills, ibises, ostriches) and reptiles (alligators, snakes, iguanas and the like). Some cages are free to walk through and the centre offers a restaurant and a souvenir shop.

Maroparque has all kinds of vegetation (most of which is endemic to the island), a huge variety of wildlife and some spectacular natural landscapes. Set in a ravine slope, this is an area of stunning natural beauty. It's also a great place to go walking (there are plenty of routes). Alternatively, you can just relax and just chill out in the incredibly peaceful surroundings.
